Onur Air Cabin Baggage Allowance 

Onur Air welcomes all passengers to bring aboard cabin luggage weighing a total maximum of 8 kg. Cabin bag size: the dimensions must not exceed 55 x 40 x 20 cm, or 21.6 x 15.7 x 7.9 inches. This bigger size can be fitted in an overhead compartment. Additionally, small personal items on board are a handbag, laptop bag, camera, books or papers, and a small umbrella.

Any excess baggage must be checked in and normal airport baggage charges apply. Passengers must check in their baggage at least two hours before scheduled departure.

Onur Air Checked Baggage Allowance 

Onur Air provides free checked baggage based on the ticket class purchased. Economy Class usually includes 15 kg, while Flex may include up to 30 kg. Excess baggage can be pre-booked before flight departure via the airline website or call center at a lower price than those available at the airport, and this should be done no less than 6 hours before takeoff.

The excess baggage will be levied at the applicable present airport rates per kilo. For safety purposes, Onur Air does not accept single pieces of baggage that weigh over 32 kg.

Sporting Equipment and Musical Instruments 

Sporting equipment can be carried as checked baggage provided there is sufficient space in the aircraft. Such equipment includes golf equipment, skiing gear, and bicycles with the specific requirements for packing. Sporting equipment should not weigh more than 32 kg; extra weight, however, will be charged accordingly.

All sporting equipment must be packed so as not to get damaged during transportation. Equipment with a length of more than 2.5 meters may not be accepted. There are special handling fees on particular equipment, especially those requiring extra care or security measures. 

Musical Instruments 

Instruments qualify as cabin baggage if they are no bigger than 40 x 120 x 40 cm. Suitable examples of instruments include violins, guitars in soft cases, flutes, and similarly sized instruments. Large instruments must be checked into the hold.

Hard cases are highly recommended for the protection of the instrument during transit. Cabin carriage is at the owner’s risk; larger instruments are available for cabin space as may be possible on board.
