Nordwind Airlines Cabin Baggage Allowance 

One carry-on bag and one personal item. The total combined weight cannot exceed 8 kg. The main carry-on bag has to fit within the size of 55 x 40 x 20 cm or 22 x 16 x 8 inches. It should be able to fit in an overhead compartment. Other little personal items allowed are handbags, laptops, cameras, or reading materials.

All checked baggage above cabin allowances must be checked. Over-sized items attract a fee by the airport to carry the items. Baggage must be checked in two hours before the scheduled departure time.

Nordwind Airlines Checked Baggage Allowance 

For fares, one free checked bag of up to 23kg is included. Free check-in baggage is not covered with Economy Light fare tickets. Additional baggage can also be pre-booked with the airline’s website and also at the customer service. Airports charge considerably high rates for excess baggage versus pre-booked ones.

Sporting equipment is accepted by Nordwind Airlines as checked baggage, space permitting, including:

All sporting goods must be properly packed and not weigh more than 32 kg. They are not to exceed 200 cm (79 inches) in length. Some equipment has special handling charges and needs to be pre-booked.

Musical Instruments 

Allowed as checked baggage with sizes up to 104 linear inches. It can be brought inside a cabin bag provided all dimensions specifications are measured and fall under the checklist as standard carry-on allowed.

• Checked baggage if they are bigger, depending on regular size and weight limits .
• Smaller instruments like violins, flutes, and trumpets may be carried within the cabin if they qualify as carry-on. 
• Larger instruments have to travel as checked baggage inside a hard case to minimize damage. 
• For transporting bigger instruments in the cabin the passenger must buy an additional seat subject to availability and through reservation with the air carrier.
